Suburban Lt 2500 4x4 6.0L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 65,085 miles

I have a 2004 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 4X4 with 65085 miles and believe that the transmission is just about to go or it may already be blown. It is slipping very badly and is having a hard time going out of first gear into 2nd and 3rd. It seems like there is a defect with this transmission from all the reviews that i have read on the internet. Is there anyone out there that has already gone through this and that has talked or gone through the motions with GM? Thanks

Suburban LS 6.2L

Wife driving kids home. Vehicle began slipping in gears. At stop light refused to move. Had to be towed to dealer. They replaced the transfer case.
