problem #2

Suburban

  • 75,600 miles
I was driving on the highway and looked down and the speedometer said 100! cars were passing me and I knew there was no way I was driving 100. Once I got to my destination, sitting still the speedometer was at either 50 or 60. When in motion it usually reads about 105-115 when going between 60-70 mph. (I think, I really have no idea since my speedometer is broken!!!) I have just over 75,000 miles on a 2005 Suburban 1500.

Suburban 4WD 8-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 48,275 miles
: the contact stated while driving 50 mph on a dry highway in a passing situation, a light stating "reduced engine power" illuminated in the vehicle. The vehicle lost a majority of the engine power, and the tachometer would not pass 1200 rpms. The vehicle was not immediately taken in for service.
