I actually go a speeding ticket when using the cruise control on my 07 suburban. I had it set for 68mph and thought that the cc would keep me at the speed. NOT SO, when I saw the red light behind me I looked at the speedometer and I was traveling much faster than 68mph. I remember thinking wow my ford expedition never allowed me to accelerates once I let the cruise control. I just figured it was the was it was designed (very poorly) but, now that i see a complaint here about the same thing, I know it is a problem that needs to be delt with.
