Suburban 4WD 8-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 9,545 miles
While driving approx. 20 miles an hour there was a loud thud and the service engine light and the traction control light both came on at the same time. The engine began to miss on acceleration and shifting between 1st and 2nd gears was so rough it shook the truck. The truck is only 6 months old and has 9, 000 miles on it. The Suburban was driven to the dealership for repairs it took 3 days for them to diagnose computer relay was affecting the traction control system and #7 cylinder had seized. The entire cam shaft is going to be replaced. Est. Work will take 7-10 days.
