The driver seat belt won"T lock or go in.

Driver's side seat belt clip will not feed into receiver. The latch is stuck in the locked position, there is a piece of plastic that guides the metal clip into the receiver that is missing.

Rear seatbelts are falling apart...the base where the buckle clasps into. Doesn't happen in the drive or passenger seats, just the back two rows.

I purchased my 2007 Chevrolet Suburban brand new in 2007. I think the mileage is somewhere around 150,000 but not sure because the odometer cluster went out on the vehicle several years ago. Also, my door handles are starting to peel apart which are cutting my hands and my children's hands. One incident it sliced my hand open very similar sever paper cut but worse. The handles were already replaced once on my Suburban back in 2009 by GM and at GM's cost. The main issue about this email is the seatbelts and the dashboard. There are four passenger seatbelts that do not work hardly at all. Sometimes they will snap in/buckle and there are a lot of times that they do not. The crack in my dashboard is right next to the airbag. It really concerns me as far as being a safety issue. I do have five small children that are constantly with me in my car. I just want this dashed fixed at no charge being that it is a defect. I have signed a petition with thousands of other GM owners with the same exact issue....cracked dashboard and most of them in the same exact place.. I'm just asking for this to be replaced and corrected.

The door handles have cut three members of my family because the metal is peeling off of the plastic. Seat belts are falling apart and at least 3 of them do not latch at all. This is very dangerous. There definitely should be a recall especially for the seat belts. Air bag light is constantly on and the dealer of course wants to "fix" it and states that if there is a crash that it may not work properly.........this after I had the top half of the engine rebuilt due to oil consumption problem. Then there is the tire pressure monitor which apparently has issues after having new tires put on my car. Nothing but problems with this hunk of junk. Will never buy another Chevy vehicle.

A few months ago, the seat belt in the second row (left side, behind the driver's seat) of my 2007 Chevrolet Suburban completely fell apart. On March 6, 2012, the passenger side seat belt stopped working and will not lock. On March 7, 2012, the driver's side seat belt stopped working and will not lock. Due to seat belt laws in our state and three children that have to be in seat belts, I am in a dilemma.

We have a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban the second row middle seatbelt just unraveled, 2 weeks later the 3rd row middle seatbelt unraveled. We took the car to the dealership explaining 3 yrs ago we had a GMC Yukon and we were in a severe crash. The Yukon was only 3 yrs old at the time and the front middle seatbelt failed and the second row middle seatbelt failed seriously injuring our family. They refuse to address the question are these the same seatbelts I don't believe this is a coincidence. Can someone look into it.

The rear (third row) seat belts randomly lock under non-emergent conditions. The tension on the belt becomes extreme such that the cannot release the belt and requires assistance, resulting in a potentially dangerous situation where the occupant may not be able to egress in an emergency. The situation is made worse by passengers in the third row seat who are adults and/or may be overweight. The manufacturer has modified the third row seat belts in apparent recognition of the problem, but has not chosen to correct the problem in earlier vehicle designs.

Both front seat female seatbelt connectors in my 2007 Chevrolet Suburban are not working properly. The drivers side takes several attempts to latch and the passenger side does not latch at all. This is being repaired (part covered by Chevy, labor at my expense) to prevent an injury or death in the event of a crash.
