I brought my 2015 Suburban LTZ (63,000) into the dealership today for a horrible banging in the front passenger's side. At first the customer service rep told us they could not replicate the issue and after some firm convincing, the tech came back and said that the shocks were indeed leaking in the front. While I have an extended warranty good for 72 months or up to 75k miles and the part is listed as struts under he GM code, the cost is not going to be covered and we are going to have to pay nearly $1800 to repair. We really have no choice but to repair given the noise is not only loud when the car hits a bump but also the performance and handling has not been great since the noise started. After researching it is very apparent that this is a known issue with GM! This is our 3rd suburban (2003, 2008 & now a 2015). With the most recent costing over $70k - yes - crazy to pay so much for a vehicle, it is not even paid off yet and we are already sinking nearly $2k into the vehicle. So, so disappointed to think that this is a re-occurring issue and there is no compensation available - hey, GM, you're stealing from hard working people who trust in you to build a reliable vehicle! Don't advertise lies about the most reliable vehicles when you know differently!

I have a 2015 Chev Suburban LTZ with 50,000 miles on it. The magnetic ride control has completely failed and it is ridiculously expensive to have them replaced. There many complaints on this same issue and GM refused to acknowledge there is a problem and will not stand behind it. When a company sells a $70000.00 plus auto and refused to acknowledge problems, it's time to boycott that company and look else ware to buy.

Took to dealer( who was nasty) and told by them even though to vehicle was a Chevrolet certified extended warranty 100,000 miles that struts were not covered and would cost $2000.00 to repair I have only put 22,000 miles on car since purchase. Took from dealer and intend to replace struts myself !! I would NOT recommend anyone to buy a Chevrolet Surban !!!!

As others have stated in their posts, the front shocks have completely failed. It appears a switch on the Magna Ride System has failed and this is not covered under warranty. This may have been going on for longer than we knew, as there have been steering issues and very early front tire failure. The ride on the unit is no longer bearable as it feels we are driving on square tires. I can't imagine this is safe?

2015 Suburban LTZ - the magna ride suspension failed costing over $1k per shock on the front end. The shocks last half as long as an LT would and cost twice as much making this repair 4x more expensive. Ridiculous.
