Seat backs broke during rear end collision
- Jacksonville, FL, USA
I entered my vehicle and when I sat in the driver's seat the front left frame bracket on the seat snapped. The welding apparently broke. This vehicle has never been off-road and I am not obese. Now, when I sit in the seat, it leans back in an uncomfortable and, most importantly, dangerous position. The seat moves back and forth everytime the accelerator and/or brake pedal is depressed. I tried to have GM fix this, because it is obviously a defect, as welding should not come undone under normal operating conditions. GM would not accept the responsibility to fix this defect.
