Any others who have this problem please go to http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/ and file an official complaint with them so that it will result in a recall. Auto Beef rocks but for serious things like brakes or other serious safety issues you need to get the nhtsa involved so that they can help get a recall. People need to help the American auto industry by holding them accountable so that they learn to do it with quality the first time and not stick the consumer. Once they learn to do this the consumer will again be confident in their vehicles and they will regain enough market share to be on top again. Hey GM, Stop making people say "I'm buying a (Toyota, Honda, Nissan or whatever) next time". Get them to say "this car / truck was awesome and I'll buy another for sure." My local dealer gave me prices to fix problem. If the sensors don't break and they can clean and reinstall $120 but if one or both sensors brake as they are being removed it can be as much as $427. GM showed no interest in making this right on their own so I'm pursing a recall through NHTSA. The complaint has been filed and I will update as to the results. Soon Hopefully. This is the only serious safety issue with this vehicle but many other problems considering garage kept with only 70,000 mi. and well maintained. Rear Stereo speakers, lights on stereo, lights on electronic 4wd buttons, fuel pump issues. Great car otherwise. Seriously.
