Tahoe LX 4.8L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 200,000 miles

If I drive 10 miles or something, the oil pressure gauge needle is over 40, but then if I get out to get gas for a few minutes on turn the truck back on, the oil pressure needle is way under 40. Went to the mechanic and he said that 90% of all Tahoe's have this problem.
