I was driving between 30 to 40 mph with my daughter in the passenger seat and my 3 year old grandson in the back seat. All windows were rolled up with the temperature outside being around 70 degrees. Without seen cause or warning the passenger window instantaneously with a loud bang broke into a million pieces covering my daughter. I pulled over to see if I could see anything that could of caused this. It was very frightening. My daughter was O.K. and I called the police. A report was made. There was no rock thrown, no bullets fired, no one around doing any landscaping or construction to cause an object to be projected toward the window. This could have caused a major accident but fortunately it did not. What could have caused this? the police suggested a defect in the window. The window had no previous cracks, or problems. Could you please let me know if this has ever happened and what can be done about it. Thank you, jill
