A.B.S. light comes on intermit., when taken to local dealer, they just go under the dash and "reset" the a.B.S. "sensor" after six months, the light comes on and off at different times. They want me to spend $700. Do I have any recourse?

We have a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, traveling at a slow speed, less than 5mph, the anti lock brakes had significant vibration and could not stop the vehicle. Ended up hitting the vehicle in front of us but no damage was incurred.
