My Tahoe was recalled for a brake sensor issue. (recall # 05V379000) tom gill Chevrolet in florence said they could not fix it because I lived in Kentucky and not Ohio. In the meantime they replaced a power steering pump for $700. They later called me and said I needed all new brakes, and if I let them do that (for $600 more) that they would fix my sensors for free. I declined and took my car to carx. They looked at my brakes and said they were fine. Then I went to pep boys and they also said my brakes were fine, only the (recalled) sensor was bad. I called General Motors, and they said because I live in Kentucky and not 5 miles away in Ohio or 10 miles West in Indiana, they would not fix it. This car gets driven in as much snow and ice as any in Ohio if not more. I travel for business. I do not trust the brakes as the stopping distance varies in low speed. It's been going on for a long time but is getting much worse.
