Tahoes seem to have a huge problem with headlights burning out. I had one burn out about 8 months after purchasing the vehicle new. So I upgraded to Silverstar Ultras, which are $50 a pair hoping that would do the trick (as I'd seen 100s of other Tahoes on the road with one headlight out over the months leading up to my bulbs failing). The Ultras lasted about 6 months before one blew. Of course you have to buy those in pairs, so there went another $50. The second set (both bulbs) blew about 4 months later while camping, leaving me with no low beams. Had to drive 150 miles with high beams only, which really pisses other drivers off. So now I've gone back to stock bulbs as I'm not dumping another $50 on bulbs, when there's an obvious electrical problem. The newest stock pair should be going out any day now!!!!
