The contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that the driver side mirror assembly was defective. The assembly would not extend enough for the contact to be able to see oncoming traffic. The dealer replaced the driver side mirror assembly three times, but the failure was not corrected. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The contact had to purchase the mirror assembly from an independent manufacturer and was able to permanently correct the defect. The failure mileage was 33,885 and the current mileage is 36,000. Updated 04/13/12 updated 05/06/12
