Dashboard cracking.

Dashboard cracked by the odometer and the passenger side airbag. This occurred while the vehicle was sitting at a red light.

The dashboard of my Chevy Tahoe has become cracked in multiple places. One of the cracks goes from the windshield to the front of the dashboard. The cracks seem like a safety hazard specifically in the event of a car accident. In a car accident the cracks may impede the operation of the airbags or allow portions of the dashboard to more easily become projectiles which could cause injury to myself or passengers in my vehicle.

I noticed that the dash in my 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe ltz is cracked above the air bag on passenger side. I also have read where this is something that is happening to lot of Tahoe, Suburban and Yukon etc. This should be unacceptable for the amount of money I and many other people spend on these vehicles. Something should be done about this. My Tahoe stays garage kept out of the sun and this still happened.

Same crack in dash as 1000's of other owners of Tahoe. GM refuses to claim any responsibility and is asking $1200 for the replacement. This is a safety hazard as it is cracked at the air bag.

Dashboard is cracking on both sides where top vent meets corners. There was no incident to cause this, and the cracks have gotten progressively worse over the last few months. Makes horrific screeching noise when car is in motion. Makes me wonder if air bags would deploy correctly on passenger side.

The dashboard on my 2010 Chevrolet Tahoe has two severe cracks...one above the instrument panel and the other beside the passenger side airbag. It would seem that this crack could interfere with the effectiveness of the airbag. This is a known issue with these vehicles.

Drivers side dash is cracking two places and spreading higher towards the instrument cluster. Happened between 8/26/16 8/28/16. Happened while I was driving on a city street. Above the center speaker in the middle of the dash the plastic clips that hold the two piece dash together also broke to. I'm worried that it'll get worse and possibly come loose. Between the two cracks the plastic is fairly loose. I've read a lot of reviews about this issue. From 2007 to 2010 Tahoe's are the worst.

Dashboard on a 2010 Tahoe cracked in 2014 near the left front corner of the passenger side airbag. If air bag were to deploy the dashboard could become shrapnel injuring occupants.

If air deploys, unsure if remainder of dash with come apart exposing occupants to flying or impacting sharp shards of plastic.
