The dashboard cluster lights (left side of dashboard) reflect in the driver's side mirror. This is much worse at night. Specifically, in the blind spot oval section which renders this important safety equipment useless. GM included this blind spot on the side mirror because there is a significant blind spot in the vehicle design such that should the driver turn and look over the left shoulder for traffic, the vehicle design created a blind spot. Therefore the mirror is invaluable. HOWEVER the dashboard lights reflect directly into the mirror's blind spot. Chevy technicians stated that there is no fix at this time, and the only way to remove the reflection is to remove the lights (there is no dimmer). This is an accident waiting to happen.
