This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Chevrolet dealer.
It is completely ridiculous for a vehicle with just over 42K miles on it to have the issues I have had with this 2015 Tahoe. The repair is to replace...replace the $570.00 Antenna assembly which was not covered by warranty (out of miles) or by my extended warranty. Of course, that doesn't include the $150 to evaluate the problem (Trouble code 82470). According to others that have had the same issues, water gets into the assembly and shorts the ground for the GPS signal. What is affected by this part? OnStar, GPS and XM radio...guess the bright side is I can cancel the other "features" that have now been rendered useless by the engineers at Chevrolet that cannot get it right. This is my first Chevrolet vehicle and it will most definately be my last.

Radio, XM or not randomly loses signal and goes silent on all channels. Very annoying. Paid a lot of money for this car.

On occasion, the XM just cuts out and is not available until you re-start the car.

My radio would not play sound. You could change the channel but nothing would play. We drove about 30 min finally stopped at the gas station, turned off the car then it started working again. I have also had the whole screen turn black and would not play anything then finally came back on after a few minutes. Was told the GM had some ideas and dealership reset.

Radio randomly cuts out with no signal, happens often on different radio stations, just goes to silence.

I bought my Tahoe from an Audi dealer in Cherry Hill. I didn't notice this issue until night time. First of all, the truck has a flashing overhead light issue when you apply the brake and use the turn signal. It's currently in the shop at Chevy. So far they say its a voltage issue and the bulbs need to be replaced. It's like a flash from a camera at night. Annoying and distracting. Hopefully this is resolved today.
The radio randomly cuts out. Waiting on a diagnosis for that. Nice truck but these two issues are a pain in the ass. Apparently these are common complaints. They are reviewing bulletins and both issues.
