1st occurrence today, accelerated to get onto highway from frontage road and Tahoe "took off" even with foot removed from gas pedal. Applied brakes, engine kept reving higher RPM with foot off gas and foot on brake pedal. Thought I hit cruise control, Hit the cancel cruise button, no change. Punched gas pedal two or three times with left foot on brake pedal and felt unintended acceleration stop. Drove Tahoe home and parked. Time for the shop. Wife would have probably crashed it.
