We were on a road trip driving down a pass when the oil light came on. The engine began jerking and quit. As we approached the bottom of the hill I tried to restart the engine. It ran very rough and would quit. I restarted several times. Our drive was in an area of not much help! We limped, jerked and restarted for several hours to get back to our home area.
