Trailblazer LTZ 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 120,000 miles

This is not some pennyass sh*t here. First time it done it freaked me out.. It happened a lot. I paid a place in Colorado to change the switch cause that's what they said was wrong with it. WRONG! They were even supposed to be specialists in transmissions 4wd and the like. They must not have fixed it cause it done it again. And again and again. It was never really fixed. I was told there was a recall on the switch so dealer put in a new one and it stopped doing it. But wont go in 4wd now says service 4wd and only way to get that off there is to stop and shut vehicle off. and this problem I believe has caused more problems/ Chevy needs to fix what was wrong to begin with when they knew there was all these problems

Trailblazer LS 3.2L 6-cyl

  • Automatic transmission
  • 111,000 miles

As I was driving on the highway, the 4wd switch was going into A4WD then into 4HI and tries to go into 4LO. So I had just went into the dealership and bought a new switch for the dash and I have not had any problems after that (they wanted to put in a new 4WD transfer case.) They told me the switch wouldn't fix it but it did.

Trailblazer LX V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 61,516 miles

My 4x4 switch lights up like a Christmas tree. Very pretty. My car randomly switches into 4hi and 4low. I was told it was a loose connection, after a few days at the dealership, then I was told it was a sensor, after another two days at the dealership. Again, my useless warranty does not cover this problem. This will cost me over $500 to fix.

The warranty also did not cover replacement of the third brake light panel that literally flew off my car on the highway, and barely missed hitting another car. The dealership wanted $1500 to fix this engineering flaw.

I can certainly understand why the company is floundering. Make a decent product, and stand behind the product, or customers like me will move on to a more reliable car company for the next purchase.
