frame rusted and rotted.. vehicle is a death trap frame rusted and rotted.. vehicle is a death trap frame rusted and rotted.. vehicle is a death trap frame rusted and rotted.. vehicle is a death trap

We took our Trailblazer for repair of the power steering lines as they were leaking. Our mechanic called us and told us we had bigger problems. Our frame was totally rusted and rotted out. He said it would not even pass inspection and that it was a death trap. He said he has never seen a 2003 rusted and rotted out like ours was.

Chevy contacted us and asked that we take it to an actual Chevy dealer. We did this and heard nothing for several weeks. I called and was placed on hold for about a half an hour before speaking with Rachael who was supposedly the person in charge of handling complaints. She informed me that the vehicle was no longer under warranty...hello.. no kidding! Then she asked what I wanted them to do. I told her I felt they should reimburse us for the value of the vehicle because I believe they placed a 2002 chassis under our vehicle and a 2003 should not be rotted out. There was a problem with the 2002 frames rusting.

We took very good care of our vehicle and washed it 2 times a week in the winter (including underneath) and once a week in the summer not to mention shampooing carpets once a year and waxing twice a year. We will never buy another Chevy product. We have had so many problems with this Trailblazer in addition to the frame. We are Ford folks now.
