Latch mechanism failure. Investigated by cpst. Latch installed according to manual in a rear facing mode with top tether on a sunshine kids radian xtsl. When installed the child riding in the car is able to repeatedly kick the latch by her feet and loosen it. The belt slips and doesn't remain with a tight install. Both webbing is parallel and should "lock" into place but it fails to do so. (related vehicle information: Model year=2004, make=Chevrolet, model=Trailblazer).
