Trailblazer LS 4.2L V6

Developed a strange knocking that sounds like a bad rod almost, no check engine light, no loss in performance just a very annoying knocking. Worst when it's cold in between 2-3, 500 RPM's. Progressively got worse over time, I got rid of the truck before I had to buy an engine.
