Trailblazer

  • Automatic transmission

Car was idling hard, and sounded like it was loping at low RPMs. This had been happening for a couple months so I didn't think too much about it. Suddenly the car's check engine light started flashing. I drove to car to Autozone and had them check the check engine light. They said it was either water cylinder 1, or the ignition coil was bad. I bought a new coil and replaced the spark plug. Check engine light went off, and the car has been running smoothly since. Coil was $68, and the fix took about an hour.

Not really a complaint. I had to fix it and I did. Easy to fix with a youtube video. I had P0305 code and took a chance on the problem.

Since the day I drove it off of the lot the check engine light will come on and off. It will not stay on long enough to register a code so I have been told numerous times from the dealer! Piece of crap car!

The engine light would flash on/off very quickly. Chevy would tell me: 1) nothing is wrong or 2) some ridiculously expensive fix. TURNS OUT NOTHING EVER FIXED IT. It's still flashing on/off.
