This repair was required immediately after another repair was done to the rear tail lights due to a GM recall notice. GM has said the two problems are completely unrelated. However, due to the proximity of the electrical wiring, in addition to the time proximity of the two events, it's not clear to me this is really the case.

Headlamps and Taillights must be replaced about every 6 months. The dealership says there is nothing they can do. The lights were covered while under warranty, but now I have to buy them and replace them myself.
