It is very annoying not having a/c due to the fact that the blower motor and resister has been replaced at my expense, and still does not work. The wiring and resister has been replaced. Two times now. Also the a/c is still not working

We bought thus trailblazer in October 2007, (fall) and come (summer) June 2008 we use the air and the back air does not work. Take it in and they tell us we're looking around $2,000.00 to have new lines put in. Total BS !!

Bought auto from first owner through dealer. Rear hatch latch broke. Sending unit in tank quit. Alt. quit. Heater/ air blower quit on 1,2,3,4. Cruise control does not work. Tranmission froze up to the tune of #3,113 . and front brakes have rusted so bad twice that rotors and pads needed to be replaced. This is a lemon . They are built to get to about 100.000-maybe and then. tough s---- to the owner!!

We bought the 2005 Chevy Trailblazer used in May of 2009. The blower for the A/C started acting up during the first week. We had a one year warranty from the dealer and it was repaired for free. Within six months we had the same problem, and the dealer fixed it again. Every three to six months we have had to get the same problem fixed. The gentleman at our neighborhood Family Car Care Center told us this winter, (Jan. 2012) that burned out wires and or burned out resistors and wires are an ongoing problem with the Chevy Trailblazer. We will be in again for our bi-annual repair on Friday!!!

its a bad time of the year with more expenses around the corner and of all things to go wrong my fan stops blowing when the weather gets cold and can't afford to fix it. but i have talked to many people that haven't reported it but their vehicle's heater fans have quit working too and several where trail blazers within a yr or 2 of of mine, a 2005. and a couple trucks in the same year ranges. but it seems like there are faulty parts or its made to break in chevy's vehicles in that time frame. i like their vehicles but starting to doubt the quality of their products.

I can't go above setting 3 when I have on the air or heat. My car is not that old I shouldn't be having an issue with that! This winter has been very cold and last summer was extremely hot and I can't go above 3 ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! I have a larger vehicle to I can carry more people but no one wants to ride with me cause it's too hot in my car! WHY AM I PAYING FOR THIS VEHICLE?????? WORST CAR I'VE EVER GOTTEN!

Blower stopped working on knobs 4 and 5 early November. Then after two weeks, all of the knobs stopped working. Just in time for winter!

Now, a year later, another problem with the a/c. Now the position of the air output doesn't work. So another couple of hundred dollars will be needed to fix the problem.

Air Conditioner would not work on the 5th setting so I took it to my mechanic and he told me that the blower motor blower resistor and connector was out or going out and part of the harness was melting thru. He said that all setting would go out sooner or later and it was a big fire risk. He called chevrolet mechanic and was told that there was a warning letter out on this problem with this year but there was no recall and chevrolet would not pay for the problem. I would like to know how we get Chevrolet to get this problem fix or do we have to wait til someone gets killed.

I have a 2005 trailblazer and the AC quit working on 4&5 not long after I got it!!! I had only had it a few months!!! This has been a pain in the ASS!! There was a burnt smell coming from it before it went out. This does not seem to be a good vehicle and something needs to be about it!!!!

In late 2009 the max speed (5) on the blower fan stopped working. Speeds 1-4 work, but as of last week no A/C. Also the Engine light goes on and off(dealer no help). The belts squeak constantly when first turned on.

The heater quit working completely. Waiting on a factory recall

Bought this vehicle in January 2006. Windshield began leaking, took it to the dealer and they supposedly fixed it. The heater quit working first on 5 then 4 then it quit. Had it fixed and now it has stopped on 5 again. Of course when it quit I was over 100 miles from home and it was in the winter time. In 2009 after many months of leaking I paid for a new windshield. The maintance light came on. Had it hooked up to computers tried a couple of fixes and it came back on. Now the gas light is almost always on, the tank almost always shows empty even after filling. Or it will move up a little and go back to empty. The front turn signals won't work and havent for a couple of years.

For the 2005 TB the #5 Fan dial doesn't work, why I ask is 5 a bad number or did GM workers forget they could only count to 4?

We have a 2005 Trailblazer and this will be the 3rd time the blower motor has "gone out" for the heater. It was about 20 degrees and my husband had to replace it out in the driveway. Worked fine in about 5K more miles it quit again so he just replaced the "plug" for it, but now it doesn't go to the high setting. Getting tired of this. When the heater and AC worked properly it really worked well. This must be a factory defect for it to be happening so frequently.
