While opening the rear hatch of our 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer lt the rear window exploded in to a million pieces. The loud explosion scared my wife as if someone had shot the glass out. There was no excessive force used, the weather was cold ~34 F, there was no snow or ice on the vehicle.
