The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer. Since purchasing the vehicle, the headlamps flicker or dim while driving, similar to a power surge. The dealer was initially unable to duplicate the failure. When the failure was able to be duplicated, the dealer was unable to make a repair. At the end of September of 2007, the steering column made a sparking sound and the dealer could not duplicate the failure once more. On September 20, 2007, the radio and all the components on the instrument panel failed intermittently. The vehicle had to be turned off and restarted for them to eventually operate again. In addition, the dome lights would remain illuminated. The driver's side door latches were replaced twice. The rear hatchback latch was replaced twice. When the key was removed from the ignition, the key buzzer would continue to sound. On January 25, 2008, the rear wiper motor was replaced and failed again on March 4, 2008. The current mileage was 36,182 and failure mileage was 70. Updated 4/2/08 the consumer stated the emblem on the rear tailgate loosing color, brake pads and rotors are worn. Updated 04/02/08

On 04/06 my wife was driving our 05 Trailblazer that we have had about a year and the dealer already had to replace the engine, and now the brakes just went completely out without warning. It caused her to rear end another vehicle luckily no one was hurt. The dealer we bought it from refuses to work with us they told us they already put the new engine in it and they didn't have to do it. If they didn't have to do it then why did they keep it 2 months right after we bought it? I took it to a mechanic near where we live and he replaced the master cylinder for the brakes and they work fine now. The dealer said that it was out of warranty and we would have to pay 75 dollars for them to tell us what was wrong with it. This is the worst vehicle I have ever owned. As soon as you fix something, something else major goes wrong with it. You name it and I have probably had it worked on in this vehicle. I called the dealer and tried to work with them and just replace the vehicle with one I could put my wife and kids in without worry if something else is going to go wrong with it and someone gets really hurt or killed. I just need help trading this vehicle in so I can get a reliable form of transportation for my family. Just want the dealer to work with me and cancel this loan out and I will gladly buy another vehicle.

The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer. When driving down a hill or on level ground vehicle will just die. It is very hard to use the anti lock brakes or steer the vehicle. The vehicle has been taken to the dealership twice. The vehicle is still under warranty. Last week stopped at cross traffic applied the brakes and they did no stop the vehicle.
