First time I've had a valve head break on any vehicle I've owned. Got this vehicle at public surplus auction, ran great for a few months then BAM! Sounds like a damn Harley. Mechanic inspected and found the valve head sitting on top of piston 3, cylinder walls trashed, piston damaged, used engine $2.5-$3K installed. Pretty difficult engine swap because the differential bolts to the oil pan and then the front driveshaft runs through the pan itself. Haven't done anything with it since. Bummer too, the interior and exterior are in great shape. Any compensation from GM on this one? I know, too many miles. FML!
