problem #2

Trailblazer LS 3.2L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 82,148 miles

I have a 2005 Chevy trailblazer and for the last 8 months or so the engine is making a knocking noise so loud the radio hardly drowns it out. I am beginning to be afraid to drive it for fear that the cam shaft is going to fly through the windshield. I would like to get it looked at but I cannot afford to spend the money on it since I am on disability and have limited income. If anyone has experienced this with their Trailblazer please respond ASAP and let me know what is wrong and how the hell much this is going to cost me.

Trailblazer LX 4.2L I6

severe knocking at start up and when you accelerate, if you hear any type of knocking coming from your engine, when you start up or accelerate do not drive and have it towed to your mechanic as soon as possible. this knocking is coming from the engine internally. don't quite know what the problem is I'm yet to find out, as this problem just recently occurred and is in the dealership as i type this blog. already i know that it is going to run me over 2k. this 2k dollars that i cant afford. the vehicle has 70,045mi. on it. up until now it has been a good car. i kept up on oil changes, tune ups and maintenance. so if anybody else that has experienced similar problems. please comment and share your views story whatever. thanks for reading
