When we bought the vehicle, we were aware of minor issues that the dealership was willing to fix. After 2 months of having it, we discovered the Exhaust Manifold needed to be replaced, dealership fixed it. About a month or so later the check engine light came and and the code was for a misfire. Took it to our local mechanic who then discovered we had more of an issue than we thought, we needed a new ENGINE! Needless to say, I will never buy another vehicle from this dealership again!

ive had this issue with two other coils and every time that i take it to the dealer to get it fixed. i have been told it is my driving and im at fault, however when i ask to speak to the owner who is a friend of my fathers they seem to forget how rude they are. they said they replaced the coils prior to selling the car but after 4 months and less than 6000 miles 3 out of the 6 have gone up. Lesson learned do not buy a chevy from a ford dealer.

I am just so tired of this situation. GM customer service is a JOKE. The reps do not call you back and if you are unsatisfied with them, too bad. It ends there. I have a $4, 200.00 bill for a part of a car that should not expire this quickly. GM told me that something must have gotten in the exhaust valve and chipped it. How could that happen? Was it supposed to go through the air filter? The fuel injector? Don't think so. Bottom line... Chevy no longer makes a quality product, and they won't stand behind it. My family has always been a GM family, no longer. I am sad that a company I believed in has failed us so miserably.

Update from Dec 16, 2012: Great news! I was told my car was ready and the total was $1,670.00. I was told by the dealership it was 4,200 min. if the belt didn't fall off, if it did it would be more (just 2 days before). I was happy but a bit confused. I asked why they suddenly changed the price and was told because corporate got involved, but I had dealt with corporate customer service and they were no help at all. I believe when they sent the head in to be reworked they found a manufacturing flaw, but I will never know. Regardless, it's fixed, I am very happy to put this behind me. My advice to anyone with car issues, do your homework. If you don't have car knowledge ask a couple mechanics. Research on the Internet. Then call customer service. If something seems fishy, it probably is. Be prepared to fight hard.

This was my 5th & last Chevy. 3 engine rebuilds out of the 5.Always have my vehicles properly & professionally serviced,But to have to have new lifters & springs replaced on both sides of a vehicle that is drove around 10 miles a day by my wife is not acceptable. Switched over to Dodge Ram pickups & that solved my problems for good.You can talk all the crap you want about Dodge trucks,But they sure know how to make a simple tough truck.

Im already upset over the price of gas and chosing an SUV!!! It ran fine during the test drive I took it on about a 45 minute test drive got warmed up drove it on the expressway at 75 mph took it off road and tested the 4 wheel drive all great! Then about 3 to 4 days later a faint miss but no engine light now a few months later a hard miss you can really feel and the truck cuts out! In overdrive at 50 to 55 it will do it the worst so if any help I would much appreciate it.. Sincerely disapointed Chevy owner
