The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated the brake lights would continuously fail without warning. The contact replaced the fuse, relay switch, bulbs and the circuit board in an attempt to correct the failure but to no avail. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing or repairs. The VIN was not accepted. The failure and current mileages were 78,000.

Turned vehicle on and found A/C blower not working and ABS and brake light come on. Blower will come on intermittently when the bas / brake light goes out. I am concerned that if there is a short in the system there could be a fire. Chevrolet should be taking care of this concern for the owners.

While I do not own a Chevy Trailblazer, I frequently am driving behind these vehicles and note that the brake light on one side or the other is often burnt out. Seems that there is a problem of some kind or maybe Trailblazer owners are just prone to not checking their lights.
