We bought this car Oct, 10th of this year and its just now Dec. It stopped changing when my wife was coming home from work. It changed once and that's all it would do. I bought this at a mechanic shop where they told me they rebuilt the transmission for a man and he couldn't pay for it and just gave them the car. He said it was under warranty when I bought it, but when I called him he doesn't remember ever saying that and I didn't get it in writing (like an idiot). I already paid out $2800 cash for the car, $800 to have the gas gauge fixed it didn't work, and now the Chevy dealer says it'll cost between $1500 to $3000 to fix it, he couldn't give me an exact price. I am so frustrated with this car. I am spent out on this and don't know what to do next at this point. Got to get it fixed some how. Any suggestions?
it started not to change into 3rd or 4th gear
