I've had to replace the hubs on this truck twice on both sides, an axle twice on the drivers side.
I have this noise that sounds like woo woo woo when going down the road which made me think that it was the hub assembly, since I had them replaced twice already. Sounds almost the same as a hub.
I was told the noise is from the tires, since I did buy aggressive tires 14,000 miles ago. SO,, I went out and bought 4 new tires and the noise is still there. NOW,,, I'm being told it's either my Transfer Case or my Universal Joint.
I've had nothing but trouble with this truck. A Ford could be in the near future.

I have a 2005 Trailblazer with many problems. I ask myself,, WHY? Let me list them for you. 1) Hub assembly. Had 3 replaced on (front) both sides on this piece of sh*t truck. 2) Fuel Gauge shows empty after I fill it up. Shows full when I'm close to empty. 3) Had to have 2 axles put on the drivers side. 4) Speakers don't work. Well, 1 does,, sometimes. 5) Cruise control turns off when driving at any speed. 6) At night, the headlights flicker, (dim then bright). On coming traffic probably thinks I'm flashing at them. 7) Had to have new radio installed, wouldn't eject CD. 8) Back hatch won't stay up. Like I said at the beginning,, MANY PROBLEMS.
Come on GM,,, Get your sh*t together.

Low mileage at the time and I thought that the tires were going bad. I had the tires replaced and found this problem along with a bad tie rod. You cant just replace the bearings, the whole hub must be replaced. It costs over $500 instead of a fraction of the cost to just replace the bearings. Piss poor designing.

Here we go again. Had some noise in the front end while driving. Took the truck in to have the tires rotated and balanced and they informed me that the left front wheel hub needs to be replaced. This is the second time in 2 1/2 years. Another $500 because of sh*tty designing.

At least every 2 months I'm having to replace a bad wheel hub assembly on my 2005 trailblazer.
That's $2,100.00 a yr. and thats not counting all the other issues I have.
