Driver side window control fried in vehicle short. This problem could happen in any vehicle, but chevy made it interesting. A replacement part could not be furnished for 6 months, anywhere in US. Imagine that, chevrolet makes vehicles with no replacement parts. Went to junkyard and found one. GM said it would not work, has to be new part and needs to be programmed to my specific vehicle, for a charge of course. But htey could not supply one. Now overdue for inspection by 4 months because of no window. Gambled and tried the junkyard part and IT Worked. Thanks GM.
