I have been experiencing dash malfunction problems for sometime now. At first it was stabilitrack light on then all dash warning lights on periodically. Interior lights surging continuously. Very annoying. I took it in to have the door module recall looked at and at that time mentioned I hoped it would fix other issues as well. But to no avail. I live 50 miles from service which causes a great inconvenience to try to take to show them what is actually happening.

This year 2015 it has been getting worse In March 10 2015 I took vehicle in to have hoses replaced & once again asked them to check. By this time not only are warning lights coming on but all other gauges alll over the placed. Speedometer does not show proper speed when going 50 Kim/ hr speedometer shows 80 km/ hr. My husband started trying to correct by resetting computer by disconnecting battery. This did help for a little bit but started again.

Our daughter took this vehicle on a 3 hour trip & air conditioning malfunctioned the entire trip in +30 degree weather. I have also done the pull off the road and shut off and on again to rectify problem. Sometime it did work sometime not. Now for sure not. We are now waiting to get in for appt as now the heater/ac fan runs continuously even when ignition is shut off. Battery now must be disconnected when stopped.

Love the vehicle hate the problems. Service people do not help as last time March 2015 they tell me this is normal. I call bull???? On that they just try to get rid of me and drive me crazy. Don't know where to turn for help

Update from Oct 8, 2015: Took vehicle to dealership to have recalled door module replaced. At the same time they were to fix fan continuously running & change right headlamp on dim bulb. Also to see if they can troubleshoot warning lights & gauges. Of course they could not make it repeat the problem & thought may be a slim chance it was fixed with other recall module replacement. But when I drove home in the dark dim lights worked when I tried to put on high beam all lights went out total darkness. Pretty scary experience. Also after about 15 Kim's of highway driving warning lights flashed then all dash lights total darkness. That fix was $575 now I have another appt to repair high beam situation. At my wits end

Update from Jan 8, 2016: At the time I had the repair done I also had a right headlight (low beam) replaced. On the way home when I put high beams on I had total blackness. I once again returned & they replaced a receptor which I think they must have burnt out when they fixed the low beam headlight. Anyway another $77. After about a month lights flashing. My husband tried to trouble shoot with replacing battery & later the alternator. We found that a little strange as the alternator had been replaced about 4 years ago. However such as it is so far no more trouble.

This vehicle we purchased brand new, it has been a good vehicle till now. It has developed various electrical issue. Wipers, stereo, headlights, ABS light on dash, malfunction Indicator light (MIL), Engine misfiring, lighter plugs on rear console, erratic and intermitted. This issue pops up when you least expect it.

The most recent being All the MIL light up on dash, windows don't work, door locks inactive, lights fail to work properly, signal lights, and interior lights freak out.

It used to be easily cured by finding a safe place pull over turn off/on the engine, all was well. Now once off, it will not recognize keys nor remote, it will not start as if in anti-theft mode. I have had to tow it back home, disconnect battery a few minutes, then connect battery back and all is well.

The vehicle has occasionally smelled of burning wires and plastic under dash, no smoke yet. When the wipers freaked about a year ago, I pulled all fuses and relays related to wipers, they would still not turn off. I am a mechanic for heavy equipment and tractor trailers, I have a degree in electronics and was very surprised by this problem. I had to apply a switch on the power supply wire to the wiper motor to turn it off. The wiper switch still works all the controls. Main power on controlled by dash switch.

When the headlights freak, the dash switch has no control, switch hi beam on/off a few times they sometimes come back on, few times we had to pull over turn off/on the engine, lights will work again till???
