2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer has a defective fuel tank level sensor. The consumer stated after the tank was fill up with gas, and the vehicle was started, a message displayed low fuel reading and the gas gauge read empty. The gas gauge also fluctuated and the check engine light illuminated. The consumer stated the fuel level sensor cost over $400 dollars to replace. The consumer was informed too much sulfur was in the fuel which caused the fuel level sensor to fail.
