The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The contact stated that the windshield wipers would independently activate whenever the vehicle was started. The failure recurred twice while driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the failure originated in the steering column. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the issue.
