About These NHTSA Complaints:
The NHTSA is the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints can be spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem. See the Back button — blue bar at the very top of the page — to explore more.
When turn the car off and remove the key from the ignition, there are two speakers that continue to make static noise, whether I have opened the door or not. If I bump or hit the center console it will make the speakers louder or turn off. The check engine light is on for multiple codes, and I have worn out shocks. The shocks should make me feel as if I am gliding, bur I feel and jerk to every bump.

The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer. While driving 50 mph, the vehicle would vibrate. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on numerous occasions, but they could not produce any error codes or provide a sufficient remedy. In addition, the air bag warning indicator would sporadically illuminate on the instrument panel, which signified that the air bag was inoperative. If the passenger sensing system were to malfunction, the front air bag on the passenger side could be disabled when it should be enabled or vice versa. The risk of injury in the event of a crash was increased. The contact had aftermarket leather seats installed in her vehicle and called the manufacturer in reference to NHTSA campaign id number 06V417000 (air bags:frontal). She is currently awaiting their response. The failure mileage was 10,397 and current mileage was 29,439.
