Trailblazer

  • 86,000 miles
The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer. Upon turning off the vehicle, the driver's seat would automatically move backwards to allow the driver to exit the vehicle. Upon restarting the vehicle, the driver's seat was not able to be readjusted to a proper driving position. As a result, the contact was unable to reach the pedals. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who diagnosed that the driver's seat track and motor were burnt out and needed replacement. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred several years later. The vehicle was then taken to mike maroone Chevrolet South (230 North academy boulevard, Colorado springs, co 80909, (719) 888-5393), but was not diagnosed. The contact and dealer were awaiting a callback from the manufacturer regarding the failure. The contact stated that the manufacturer refused to repair the vehicle and referred the contact to NHTSA. The failure mileage was 86,000.

Trailblazer 4WD 6-cyl

  • 101,500 miles
The passenger side heated seat shorted out, causing charring on the inside foam of the seat. I believe this to be a fire hazard.
