Trailblazer 4WD 6-cyl

The contact owns a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The vehicle is equipped with Michelin ltx M/S tires, size P245/65/R17 (na). The contact stated that the tread on all four tires was separating and the outside of the sidewalls were cracked. The vehicle was taken to an independent tire dealer and the tires were replaced. The manufacturer stated that the tires were not included in NHTSA campaign number: 13T012000 (tires) since the size of the tires did not correlate with the recall. The approximate vehicle failure mileage was 66,000 and the tire failure mileage was 24,000. Updated 10/23/2014 updated 04/22/2015
