Summer, no problem. As soon as cold snap hits, shudders like coming off mounts when started, must warm 30 sec or more (shuddering heavily) and then smooths out. Mechanic has replaced plugs, coils, the timing plunger (oil pressure operated), all sensor components. Now, starts heavy, shut off, runs OK. BUT throttle response is 'iffy' and dangerous pulling into traffic, idle wants to kill engine at light. Told mechanic to keep it until we find the problem. Total over $1500 so far. Asking GM for help. One post said owner could turn on A/C and problem abated. Is this a COMPUTER problem? Has something to do with heat, or ambient O/S temp ???
