Chevrolet has had numerous issue with frame rust thru on early 2003 to 2008 Trail blazers and Trailblazer EXT. I was informed that they had used recycled Megan from China in these frames. The rest of the vehicle is in above average condition. A frame should last a lot longer than the vehicle. I've priced frame from recyclers and it's about $1200.00 plus not counting cost to swap everything over. GM should stand up like Toyota did for the 03-10 Tacoma frame issue, they replaced the frame, springs, bumper supports, and more for free and included a company rental car the whole time. I can verify this because they fixed my 2005 Tacoma 2wd because of frame rust issues. If my parked Tacoma hadn't been hit by a vehicle involved in an accident, I never would have bought the Trailblazer in 2019..sold in supposed great condition by used car lot. Now 2 years later it won't even pass inspection because the rear control arm mounts and away bar mounts are completely broken away from the frame and there is nothing left to weld it to. Look at pics included. Everybody that has this issue should get together for a class action suit against GM due to their manufacturing vehicles that don't hold up to the expected life. He'll I've got vehicles way older than my Trailblazer and there isn't a hole in any of their frames.
