The contact owns a 2009 Chevrolet Traverse. While driving 75 mph, the transmission failed without warning. The vehicle was towed to boucher Chevrolet (1421 E moreland blvd, waukesha, wi 53186) who stated that the clutch wave plates needed replacement. The dealer also stated that the vehicle exceeded the mileage to be included in service bulletin number: 14404A (transmission clutch wave plate). The manufacturer was also contacted and did not assist. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 137,000.
