The contact owns a 2009 Chevrolet Traverse. While driving approximately 55 mph, the sun roof exploded and caused glass to explode outward. There were no injuries. The vehicle was taken to griffin Chevrolet (11100 w metro auto mall, milwaukee, wi 53224, (414) 882-8479) where they cleaned the remaining glass and informed the contact that the failure was due to the weather change. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 169,538.
