The contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet Traverse. While driving at an unknown speed, the air conditioning warning indicator illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (candle Chevrolet, eugene, Oregon) where it was diagnosed that an air conditioning hose was needed; however, the part was unavailable. The contact called the dealer (Chevrolet Cadillac, bend, Oregon) who also stated that the part was not available. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue and referred the contact to NHTSA. The failure mileage was approximately 93,000.
