So the 2011 Chevy Traverse is a big DO NOT BUY IT!!!! Oil leak and traction control issues but lately....
We took the car in because the AC didn't work. Paid $160 to find out the reason as to why the AC is not working. We were told that the engine of the fan that blows the AC needs to be replaced, so we did that and $300 later the AC is still not working. We were told that there is a leak and it will cost $600 to fix that. Seriously this car is 4 years old !!! We live in Wisconsin and use AC 3 months out of the year!!! THIS CAR IS A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

The air just stopped working and I was unsure of what the problem was. My car is only 5 years old, 87,000 miles and seems to be too soon to be having compressor issues from what I have been told. I was informed the compressor has a leak in it and one of the hoses, also. Estimates show that compressor will be around $500 and the hoses around $300. Looking to get the repair work done soon. Are these simply faulty parts and shouldn't they last longer??? Just wondering.....???

The AC blows hot air. This is my wife's truck and we had the same issue 2 years ago and the chevy dealership charged 800 to repair because the unit had 2 leaks. Now here it is almost 2 months to the day that we had this issue and it's doing it again. We had several issues with this truck and it's gotten a little annoying to say the least.

Took the car in because a/c was not turning on. There is a leak in the hose to the rear console because of the hoses rubbing together at the connection. What kind of scam is going on?

The AC went out in my Traverse. It took three trips to the dealership to fix. They used dye to determine where the leaks were, but the issue was more than the leak. They had to replace a lot with regards to the AC system to get it to work again. It was very expensive in maintenance costs.
