2011 lt rear pipe pin hole became large, lost freon. Rear pipes quoted $1200-1500 to replace. Decided to block off the rear a/c $75.00. Now needs desiccant dryer filter replaced quoted $600-700 for $10.00 part. requires taking the front end of the vehicle off removing radiator condenser and replacing the filter. 8 hrs labor. Maintenance schedule calls for replacing the filter dryer if the system is discharged or parts replaced. The filter is not accessible this should be pop off an access cap unscrew the cap replace the filter without having to disassemble the whole front end of the car.This car also requires removing inner fender wheel wells to replace a head lamp.

I purchased my 2011 traverse with 19000 miles on it and had no issues until I hit 67000 miles the AC unit stopped blowing cold air. when I had it serviced I was told that I was low on R12, I paid 127.00 dollars to have R12 refilled. It lasted 1 day I took it back to the repair shop and I was told that I had a leek in the major AC line I had to pay 400 dollars to change this line. After this issue was fixed the AC still did not blow cold air. Now the problem is the small evaporator that is located behind the dashboard. This is suppose to fix my AC problem.
