problem #2

Nov 302019

Traverse LT SE 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 170,000 miles

This problem has happened 2 times since I purchased my car. The first time was December 2018 and the second in November 2019. The air intake looks like it has oil in it, but smells like gas. We purchase a new throttle and sensor each time but this issue is very irritating as their is no warning before it happens but after it does my vehicle will not move faster than 15 mph and the first time this happened, I was driving my kids to school. My traction control light came on and I lose power... I have had my car for 3 years and will be trading it in this tax season as this issue makes this vehicle very unreliable especially for families.

Traverse LX 3.6L V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 28,010 miles

I was driving on the highway in traffic when the stabilitrac/reduced power/traction control light came on. Then suddenly the car accelerating on the expressway on it own and I had to slam on the brakes to slow it down. It also gets very sluggish and the check engine light is on. I googled the problem apparently it's very common and a recall need to be issued.
