The contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated that the steering rack system was defective. While driving approximately 60-65 mph, the vehicle veered to the left and right lanes. The contact stated that the vehicle was classified under a special warranty for a steering pump; however, the faulty steering pump caused the rack system to fail. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 40,000.
